1. Measure from left the width of the slat to the nearest 1/16″. (write down measurement)
2. Measure from left to the left edge of the first route hole to the nearest 1/16”. (write measurement down)
3. Measure from left (edge of slat) to the left edge of the second route hole to the nearest 1/16”. (write measurement down)
Measure any additional route holes in order and the same way (if necessary).
All route holes are measured from the left edge of the slat – DO NOT measure between route holes.
General instructions for common wood or faux wood blinds. Your product may be different, but the same basic techniques should apply.
1. Carefully remove bottom button to expose lift string. (if needed – some buttons do not need to be removed)
2. Pull lift string out with pliers and remove knot.
3. Pull lift string out just above the slat(s) to be replaced. (repeat this process for all other lift strings)
4. Replace the slat(s).
5. Rethread the lift string down through the slats and tie off.
6. Replace bottom buttons. (if applicable)
1. Measure width, subtract an additional 1/4” to fit inside frame.
1. Measure up to the 1/8”.
2. Add 1/4″ each side (1/2″ total) for outside clearance.
*When measuring an outside mount valance for replacement, NEVER measure the outside, or the girth of the valance. Measure ONLY the inside (short portion) of the miter cut.
1. Snap clip on headrail. (remove blind first if inside mount)
2. Mount (1) clip near each end, and (1) every 3′-4′ intermittently. (if blind was removed – remount
now)
3. Snap top of valance into clip, then rotate bottom into clip.
4. Slide horizontally to adjust if necessary.
